Thank you, Universe

With the intensities experienced this year in 2020–2021, I reflect on moments of gratitude. Fear, panic, halting dreams and then resuming them. I’m taking a different perspective to support the shift in my mindset and support my healing moving forward.

Mindful tools. Smudging.

The anticipatory anxiety with heart racing, fast breathing and common visual flashbacks of what the scene of the crime may look like. Being married to someone with destructive traits and addictions has been the most challenging experience in my life. But one where my growth in self awareness, emotional intelligence, mindful awareness of my body and mind, and my communication skills has grown immensely. The transformation and growth I feel is powerful. The changes of who I was before these experiences are dramatic.

I am grateful for my protective responses and now that I am safe, I take a step back.

I allow sleep to come easier each night with supportive tools like magnesium, warm baths and using a weighted blanket. Falling asleep to yoga nidra videos have also been very supportive.

Stepping into challenging situations like going to do a float spa, to truly feel the somatic release of the traumas held in my body and accepting these sensations that I need to feel to be able to move through this processing of trauma. To bring awareness to the sensations in my throat. I release to the water. I release to the earth. I release.

These are the beautiful moments in my life as I lay down resting in bed, grateful for comfortable and supportive and space for ongoing processing releasing and healing. In these beautiful moments following some beautiful self-care and creativity, I reflect upon the warning signs and triggers, that allow my body to remain safe and powerful. And these beautiful moments of noticing the sensations of my hips on the bed head on the pillow focusing on slow deep breath’s. Five seconds in and five seconds out to release.

Breathing in, breathing out

The law of attraction is powerful. I am always attracting what is meant to be in my life. I am grateful for all that I have attracted. If there’s been anger, this is a sign of a new path to create. Making peace and releasing. Stepping into abundance.

Everything is ok.
